U-19 Japan National Team report at AFC U-19 Myanmar 2014 (10/7)

Third day of training in Myanmar. The team held training from 9:30. Two days before first game, they practiced building pitch-wide attack and finishing with shoot and took up different menu for attack and defence players respectively. Attack players took part in training for holding combination play in front of goal and shoot and looked they have better combination quality than in Miyazaki, number of scenes of shooting in favorable situation increased.
The squad visited and took a look at the game venue, Wunna Theik Stadium. They checked stadium surroundings and pitch conditioning.

Team staff participated in the Welcome Party hosted by Myanmar Football Association in the afternoon. All the 16 participating teams are in hosting country Myanmar.
The squad is going to hold final training on 8th and get ready for the first game.

Comments

TAKAGI Daisuke (Tokyo Verdy)
Out combination is getting better as first match against China is getting closer. I want to make some adjustment for rising quality of finish. With only few days left, I want to make good preparation by talking to each other on the pitch and off the pitch.

UCHIYAMA Yuki (Consadole Sapporo)
The first match is going to start in day after tomorrow. The team atmosphere is good, motivated and really relaxed both mind and body. In free time in the afternoon today, we enjoyed playing table tennis, watching DVD and playing badminton for better communication. I am determined to win the first match.
