Japan Women’s Futsal National Team camp report (22 Nov)

Japan Women’s Futsal National Team camp report (22 Nov)

Japan Women’s Futsal National Team reached the second day's morning of the camp.
The training started with warm-up exercise with side step and back step. After releasing the stress of their bodies, all players moved to the next session that required them to use their heads.

They passed a ball while moving on the court. However, the second day's exercise was also not just "passing" a ball. Each passer and receiver had to call the number that made 15 at addition of both numbers. When passing a ball, a passer called arbitrary number from 1 to 14, while receiver replied the number that made 15 with the passer's number at addition. And then next passer, meaning former receiver, passed a ball while calling the arbitrary number and repeated the same process.

The team focused on scrimmages in the afternoon, imaging a training match tomorrow.
The 3-day training camp will end tomorrow and this is the last training before World Women's Futsal Tournament in Costa Rica on December. Each player will devote her full effort to the tomorrow's training without leaving works in this camp.

Comments

YOSHIMURA Fumi (Shoot anilla)
I am getting accustomed to the team, though I felt nervous slightly at the beginning. As there are many different plays from those that I usually used to do in my team, I am still struggling to use my head and adapt myself to those plays. However, as I learned new things including how to save our goal, I want to make good use of those things in my play style. I want to master things that I learned in this camp, for example the way of collaboration with the third defender as well as my effective role as the fourth defender. Also I will try to make more practices to be able to run onto passes on a good timing and manner, as I am not good at doing so currently. We have a training match with men's team .Though their running speeds as well as that of a ball are believed to be fast, I hope my team to make good challenge, cheering up with each other.

SEKINADA Minako (arco-iris KOBE)
I will do my best to show what I learned from these 2 days tomorrow.

KATO Saori (Bardral URAYASU Las Bonitas)
I participated in the training camp following the last one in Kansai region. Though I was obsessed with many training menus that need to use our heads fully, they were relatively easier to understand for me because I was able to do them step by step. Adding to that, as I tried to communicate with others more livelily, I could successfully do training in a good mood. I want to keep all things learning from this camp in my mind, such as contents of training, meal menus as well as care methods, in order to make good performances on my best condition at all times. I will try to do my best for making play in my own, being aware of things I have done in this camp, tomorrow.

SAKATA Mutsumi (SWH Ladies Futsal Club)
2 days has already passed in the training camp on Kanagawa. I have challenged and learnt new futsal through trial and error, but I have spent fruitful days of this camp. I want to keep my learning attitude wherever I play futsal for developing my breadth of my play style. I will try my best on the final day of tomorrow to learn a lot of both achievements and problems personally and as a team.

HARUYAMA Ai (arco-iris KOBE)
We have spent 2 days of the camp in Kanagawa following the last week and Japan's own way to play a game has gradually infiltrated the team. In the mid this process, I will make more efforts to understand what I am expected to do and make those things realized and, furthermore, make more surprises than those expectations. In addition to that, there are lots of things to learn in this camp, not only inside but also outside of the pitch. I will make good use of this experience in my daily life and trainings to change my way of thinking for growing up furthermore.
