Japan National Women’s Futsal Team camp report (21 Nov)

Japan National Women’s Futsal Team have restarted their training camp in Kanagawa prefecture following the last week.
6 players were replaced by new members from the 1st camp in Osaka prefecture last week.

The training started with the exercise of passes in each 3 teams of 6 players.
They have passed a ball to the other wearing a different color's bibs from the color which the passer called. The training menu moved to a ball juggling within the same 6 payers after passing exercise, however they didn't do just a "juggling". The one completed juggling moved over to the next team. Though they started a juggling aiming to continue it for 15 seconds without dropping a ball, they struggled to keep it. They had a team meeting in the middle of this exercise to find out how they continue it for 15 seconds. They successfully achieved their goal of 15 seconds and more 2 seconds to 17 seconds in the last end.
The team wrapped up the day with scrimmages following the 5-vs-1 training game.

All the members of a team celebrated 18th birthday of SONODA Mizuki in Nov 21 after a dinner.

ARIHARA Masaaki Head Coach
The theme of this second camp, as in the first one in Osaka, is to understand how we should play in each important scene of the game as well as to make the team accustomed to do those kinds of necessary plays.
New members showing good performances in the All Japan Women's Futsal Tournament joined the team and I expect this camp will be fruitful one, because I regard it as very important event to form cultures of the new team.
Furthermore, I have appreciated cooperations from teams which sent their players to this camp during the league tournament.

ASANO Itsuki (MARUOKA RUCK Ladies)
I was very nervous, because this is my first time to be called up to the national futsal team. However I realized I could be getting closer to other members through many communications during plays. I will do my best to do all what I can do for these 3 days and get to learn new things to grow up as a player.

MIYAZAKI Kana (VEEX TOKYO Ladies)
I have been very nervous, as this is my first national women's futsal team camp.
I was too busy doing trainings which requested us to use our heads from the beginning. As almost all players are new to me for playing together, I will try to grasp their characteristics in plays through more communications with them and then try to do my best to show my good plays with utmost efforts.

SEKI Kaori (ASTRO)
I felt a little nervousness and confusion, as I was called up to the camp for the first time. However, I want to communicate with other players and learn as many things as I can. I also try to understand what I am required to do and immediately practice them, participating each session with my great effort.

HORI Maiko (Colmillo)
Even though I have been nervous in my first national team camp and there are many difficult training menus I have never done, I have had a good time with advices from other participants who had taken part in the last camp.
I want to get to know the way to play as the member of the national team both physically and mentally in order to be able to play with the same mind of other players as soon as possible. I enjoyed this exciting opportunity to practice with top players, but I know I need to show my own play during this camp.

KOBAYASHI Kokoro (MARUOKA RUCK Ladies)
I am looking forward to what I can learn from this my first national team camp and I want to learn as many things as I can. I got new motivation from other players and the mood in the team during training sessions. I want to understand my disadvantages as well as advantages which I am good at playing for growing up as more as possible.
