The 14th National Senior Football Tournament: Group C Teams with Members over 60

The 14th National Senior Football Tournament will start in Fujieda City, Shizuoka on Saturday, 31 May. This tournament aims at promoting football among senior generation and bringing it closer to them as a lifetime sport.
We will introduce four teams in Group C in this article.
Hamamatsu Kaido Club

| Comment | Hamamatsu Kaido Club, which will have its 40th anniversary next year, was able to win a long-sought national title two years ago. More than half of 120 members have enjoyed football since long time ago. With a 93-year- old man in the lead, we have been in good health and have continued football by aiming at becoming lifetime players. |
Iwate 60

| Comment | Iwate 60 is formed with friends living in the prefecture who love football, and anyone can participate in the team. The team’s goal is to contrive ways to promote friendship between members, to provide them with a chance to actively participate in practice and enjoy playing, and to be active with a dream to achieve a championship. |
Selected Team in Tokyo（Lazos27）

| Comment | The team is formed with members who were born in 1952, when football meant “bonds (lazos).” We enjoy our lives as well as football. We set goals as high as the sky, and we will revenge a last year’s defeat and aim at being the top in the country. |
Kagoshima SFC O-60

| Comment | We gathered members from a senior league in the prefecture and organized this team. We came into Kyushu Tournament by deepening our partnerships with the senior league and high school women’s teams through practice matches, and after having fierce competition, we were able to become a representative team. We look forward to compete with all of you across the country in this tournament. |
