The 14th All Japan Senior (over 60s) Football Tournament: Group B team introduction

The 14th All Japan Senior Football Tournament (over 60 years old) will begin on 31 May (Saturday) in Fujieda City, Shizuoka. This competition aims at promoting football among the older generation and encouraging people to play football as a lifelong sport.
We will introduce four teams in Group B in this article.
Fukuoka 60 Gara Football Club

| Comment | Our Club is the only senior team in Fukuoka Prefecture, with 62 players aged over 60 (among those, 17 players are over 70). We hold two-hour practice sessions at night on the second and fourth Saturdays every month. As many of our members live far away from our practice ground, such as in Kita-Kyushu Area, Chikuho Area and Chikugo Area, we usually have a kick about with the 20 players, who live in Fukuoka Area. |
Osaka Senior 60

| Comment | Our team is based on two clubs: the West Japan Genro and the Osaka Football Club, which offers lifelong opportunities for people to enjoy football in Osaka. We will do our best with Showa playing style with our motto ‘No one can defeat our will power, initial speed and movement’. |
Senior Okayama FC

| Comment | The members of the Senior Okayama FC are selected from seven teams in the Okayama Senior 50 League and ‘Momotaro 60 Club’ whose members are over 58 years old. We might be a weak team due to a few players over 60-years-old in the 50 League, but we will play hard to win at least one game. |
