14th All Japan Senior Football Tournament: Group A teams

The 14th All Japan Senior Football Tournament (above 60 years old) will kick off on 31 May (Saturday) in Fujieda, Shizuoka Prefecture. This tournament is meant for spreading the game out to the senior generation and making it a life-time sport for anyone.
We will introduce the teams in Group A this time.
Shizuoka Prefecture selective squad

| Comment | We did not get to advance to the knock-out round in the 13th national senior championships. Having reflected on the previous tournament, we formed the prefectural selective squad around the Fujieda football club. We would like to play all-out for victories, living up to the reputation being the football nation. |

| Comment | We Kochi Showa alumni club aim to play running football with all the members and work with our team work. We are a defensive oriented team, but we also have offense that build it up around newcomers Okazaki and Yamashita. |
Miyagi Phoenix Soccer Club

| Comment | We have more than 100 members, whose ages range from 60 years old to 80-plus years old. Our team have dispatched for both the competitions of the 60s and 70s. Our motto is to play with appreciation for the game, while we help with each other and play with fun and discipline, in order to establish a high-level senior team. |
Chiba Shijukara SC

| Comment | We are a senior club that are playing in Chiba Prefecture, and have squads of the 40s, 50s and 60s. We are participating in this tournament with the supports of Ichihara Furukawa Senior and AC Chiba. This is our first time to be in this tournament, but we would like to compete looking for better results by playing with other teams of each regional representatives while enjoying the contests. |
