AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa pays an official visit to JFA

H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, paid an official visit to the Japan Football Association (JFA) at the JFA House on Thursday 21 February.

Shaikh Salman congratulated the impressive progress and achievements showcased by Japanese football in recent years, adding that the JFA stands firm as a model member association of Asia. He also attributed such success to all the efforts made to date by the executive members, the Japan National Teams, players and staff, as well as the entire administration of JFA.

On a personal note, he also commented that he is happy to be back in Japan, a country with which he has maintained cooperative relations for over ten years.
