04 October 2019
The Japan Football Association (JFA) will be setting up a special booth to support the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 at IAI Stadium Nihondaira, Shizuoka, on Sunday 6 October, when the Nadeshiko Japan (Japan Women’s National Team) welcomes the Canada Women's National Team in an international friendly match.
The booth will be setup to familiarise the visitors about the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. At the booth, World Cup trophies won by the Nadeshiko Japan, the U-20 Japan Women’s National Team, and the U-17 Japan Women’s National Team will be on display, along with pictures from the recent FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019. As part of the event, we will be collecting messages from the visitors of the booth on the theme, “2023 My Dream.”
By hosting the Women's World Cup 2023 in Japan, the JFA seeks to give new hope to the future members of the Nadeshiko Japan and enhance the environment surrounding women’s football in Japan. Through the World Cup, the JFA dreams of providing a unique and thrilling experience to all people, beyond the differences in sports, race, gender, and sexuality.
What is your “2023 My Dream” you would like to fulfil in 2023?
To make your dream a reality in 2023, please share us with your dreams.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the booth.
