Japanese Instructor Mr. TERAMINE Akira newly dispatched to Bhutan

In efforts to support the development of football in Asia, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has been dispatching instructors to many regions of Asia. Most recently, Mr. TERAMINE Akira has been dispatched to the Kingdom of Bhutan. As the goalkeeper coach of the Bhutan National Team, he will be coaching both the men’s and women’s national team, as well as the academy players to support the development of goalkeepers in various categories.

Instructor’s Comment

Mr. TERAMINE Akira
I have been newly named as the goalkeeper coach for the Bhutan National Team, Bhutan Women’s National Team, and the Bhutan Football Academy. I am working together with Coach NAKAMURA Atsushi, who has been appointed as the academy coach from last year, to coach the goalkeepers at the academy. The 10 players who belongs to the U-12 to U-18 teams have great physiques and they are showing a lot of potential. At 3 p.m. on the weekdays, we have been conducting a 60-minute training session with the national team goalkeepers. I will follow the footsteps and build on the legacy of the Japanese predecessors including the former goalkeeper coach HANITA. With the cooperation of the Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) President Mr. Ugen Tsechup DORJI, General Secretary Mr. Ugyen WANGCHHUK, and all the members of the BFF, I will give my utmost efforts to contribute for the development of Bhutan Football.
