Japan Provisional Beach Soccer National Team training camp report(13 June)

Japan Provisional Beach Soccer National Team training camp report

he second day came around for Japan Provisional Beach Soccer National Team training camp in Fukuoka city. Unlike unstable weather on the first day, the players refreshed themselves in fine weather and worked on the training.

Two sessions of training were held in the morning and the afternoon. The players took part in mini game allowing them to use only their hand for pass and a heading for shoot. With a lot of laughter for amusing play just like clear sky, the training started in upbeat mood. But the atmosphere changed once they participate in the training menu which put a load to them such as 2-on-2 and 3-on-3, they chased the ball seriously.

In the afternoon, they started training focused on techniques of pass and control, checking the formation giving you an image of building and finishing the chances.. As the players concentrated so much on the training, Mendes, head coach extended training time for half an hour and looked satisfied with what they’ve been gone through.

By the way, you can find many people playing around and walking on the beach in Fukuoka where the training camp is held. As the bigger turnout is expected on the weekend, the training will attract their attention and hope that will be a starting point to get interested in a beach soccer.

HARAGUCHI Shotaro(TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
This is third training camp in this year. It covered advanced contents of tactical training which requires arrangement and quick judgment for the players. I’d like to work on enhancing my strength as I understand the tactics one by one. In the end, it was first time to hold the camp in Fukuoka, I would extend my gratitude to those who supported us in preparing the venue, etc.

GOTO Takasuke(TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
I usually belong to foreign team this time of period every year for brushing up my skills but this year we have a new head coach and I try to understand team tactics by attending the domestic training as much as I can. Firstly, nothing is going to change in the future if Beach Soccer National Team doesn’t win the World Cup. I believe many things will be different if we win like Nadeshiko Japan. It is important to appeal my play but I will play putting priority on winning the championship. I will work as hard as I can so that the efforts made by those leading Japan’s Beach Soccer – superiors, supporting staff, the team I belong to, us and all the people involved, will be rewarded.
