JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba end in successful fashion
12 June 2015

The Japan Football Association hosted a JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba at J-GREEN Sakai in Osaka Prefecture on 23 May (Saturday). Partially because an annual J-GREEN Sakai Festival was held on the same day there, a total of 87 participants assembled for the Nadeshiko Hiroba, including so many girls and women, and it gave it a fun atmosphere.
Coaches of Cerezo Osaka Ladies and Cerezo Osaka Girls served as the coaches of the day. Before the event began, a former Japan national team player MORISHIMA Hiroaki and KATSUYA Toshinobu made a surprising participation and it excited the parents of the participants.
They started with warm-ups, and then they went through fundamental practices divided into four groups. After that, they played a game with the entire participants. Following the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba, they watched a match between Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies and NGU Nagoya FC Ladies at the same facility.

Host's Comment
NAIKI Toshiya (Operations Manager)
We’ve hosted the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba here at J-GREEN Sakai since last year. Regarding the coaching for the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba this year, we are going to have them with the supports from the women's committee of the Osaka Prefectural football association and JFA Academy Sakai.
Plus, we had a support from Cerezo Osaka sports club this time. As we would hold this, we assembled the participants through the websites of J-GREEN Sakai, Cerezo Osaka sports club and Osaka Prefectural football association. We didn't get many applicants right after we began the process, but the numbre increased in the last minute.
In fact, we received applications from more than 10 people and wound up having a total of 87 participants, which made the event more exciting.

MORISHIMA Hiroaki (Cerezo Osaka Ambassador)
I a sudden participation in the JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba along with Cerezo Osaka football school's school master, KATSUYA Toshinobu this time.
I was at J-GREEN Sakai for another event in the morning, but we heard that there would be an interesting women's-only football school in the afternoon, and I and Katsuya talked saying, “we've got to join it.”
The coaches happened to be of Cerezo Osaka, so we got accepted open-armed. We have the Women's World Cup this year and it is a great thing to create opportunities for the women to actively get involved in football. I would like to actively help a thing like this I have a chance in the future.

JFA Nadeshiko Hiroba
It is an occasion that any females, from the children to the girls, to the mothers and grandmothers, are able to casually enjoy the game of football. It is run by organizations and facilities that are approved by the JFA.
