Japan Football Association (JFA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) on 17 September 2025. JFA and HNS will cooperate at various levels.

The signing ceremony took place in JFA House and went in an amicable manner. Both parties discussed how various exchanges can be conducted through the signing of the partnership and expressed high expectations for future initiatives.

The MoU ceremony was conducted in the presence of:
・Mr. Marijan KUSTIĆ , President, HNS
・Mr. Stipe PLETIKOSA, Technical Director, HNS
・Mr. MIYAMOTO Tsuneyasu, President, JFA
・Mr. YUKAWA Kazuyuki, General Secretary, JFA
・Mr. KAGEYAMA Masanaga, Technical Director, JFA

The MoU between HNS and JFA aims to facilitate cooperation in the following areas:
・Friendly matches and various exchange programmes for National Teams and players of each age category (both men and women);
・Coach exchange programmes;
・Referee exchange programmes;
・Knowledge-sharing between administrative and management staff;
・Exchange of expertise in sponsorship, broadcasting, and media rights; and
・Exchange of expertise in match operations.
