JFA strengthens ties with Football Association of Singapore

Japan Football Association (JFA), signed on today a renewed partnership MoU with Football Association of Singapore(FAS) at FAS office in Singapore. Both football governing bodies will now cooperate with each other for further development of football in Singapore and Japan.
JFA and FAS have been building close relationship over the years. This time, in order to push the level of mutual cooperation to another stage, both football governing bodies have agreed to sign on this renewed MoU, which was first signed in 2011.
JFA President DAINI Kuniya expressed “I am very honoured by this renewal of partnership with Football Association of Singapore which has been a good partner and friend. Through the increased exchanges in many areas we will surely strengthen the friendship and cooperation with each other for further development of football in both countries.”
The MoU between JFA and FAS aims at cooperating with each other in following main areas of cooperation:
・Sharing of expertise in football administration and management
・Exchange and attachment programme of coaches, referees, players, medical practitioners, marketing staff;
・Exchange visits and training camps;
・International matches;
・Cooperation for commercial purposes.
Japan Football Association has signed on partnership MoU with football governing bodies such as France, Spain, Germany, Tajikistan, UAE, Jordan, Vietnam, and Iran.
