Ahead of their match against the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) in the KIRIN CHALLENGE CUP 2019, scheduled to take place at Panasonic Stadium Suita on Tuesday 19 November, the players of the Venezuela National Team have made their arrival to Japan between Saturday 9 and Wednesday 13 November. Despite the long travel to Japan, the players showed great energy at the training session, as they prepare ahead of the match in Osaka.

Following our tour in November, I feel very fortunate to be able to revisit Japan. Through these visits, I was able to see how kind and respectful the Japanese people are. We always have a tough time adjusting to the time difference, but this time, we have arrived in Japan with plenty of time to fix the jetlag. Although this is a friendly match, it gives us the opportunity to assess our progress, work on the details, and build our teamwork ahead of the South American qualifiers for the World Cup. We would also want to finish the year on a high note. We will give our best efforts to showcase a spectacular match and we hope to entertain the Japanese fans through the highly skilled football match between Venezuela and Japan.
