Players' Comments

YOSHIHIRA Tsubasa (Oita Trinita U-18)
We did some light training in the morning, followed by a practice match against Nippon Sport Science University in the afternoon. We played in a passive way against the opponent’s press from up front, letting them steal the ball in midfield to counter-attack. I couldn't intercept the ball well in defence. We’ll meet Ryutsu Keizai University on the last day of this camp tomorrow. I’d like to show what we learned today, and personally I will try hard to display my skill.

MASUYAMA Asahi (Vissel Kobe)
As we made many mistakes in midfield, I’d like to fix them so as not to lose the ball there and to be able to pick up our pace, creating goal-scoring opportunities. I couldn’t strike a goal. So I’d like to be more ambitious, initiating attacks. I’ll try harder to score in tomorrow’s match against Ryutsu Keizai University.

OMINAMI Takuma (Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School)
I’m very pleased that I am here to join this training camp. I feel gutted, as I couldn’t show off my strength in today’s game. However, I was inspired a lot by playing in a high-level match. I’d like to play hard tomorrow to learn as much as possible.

TOKIDA Masato (Aomori Yamada High School)
I realised the difference between a high school team and a university team in today’s game. The kind of plays, which tended to work well against a high school team, weren’t effective at all against a university team. It made me think. I’d like to work on these tasks and improve myself.
