Japan Beach Soccer National Team's report for International Friendly Match (6/18)

19 June 2015

Japan Beach Soccer National Team's report for International Friendly Match (6/18)

Japan Beach Soccer National Team had two-a-day practice, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, on the second day. In the morning, they had a two-hour practice mainly spending it for physical training to develop their conditioning under a severe sunshine. The goalkeepers had different menus, which included physical training, under goalkeeper's coach NAKAGAWA Masahiro.

In the afternoon, the team spend much of the time for checking their tactical defensive plays. Because even one player makes a different move, that causes a gap in their collectiveness and it could lead to goals, they worked on every single plays carefully.

The temperature hit 30 degrees, but they players cooled down by getting in the ocean after the training, which could be seen only for beach football, and tried to get ready for an international game in two days.

Players' comments

HARAGUCHI Shotaro (Tokyo Lequios BS)
We checked our team defence in our afternoon training today. I think by sharing our defensively system with the entire team and carry it out in games, we are going to be able to show Japan's strengths even better. In the friendly match, I want to have a better awareness on the defensive side of ball. We want to certainly win the friendly match first to have a better preparation for the World Cup.

MATSUO Naoya (Pracia Yamaguchi)
We are in an important training camp before the World Cup this time, so I would like to develop my condition as best as I can. In our tactical training, we've done it with the opponents of our first match Portugal in the World Cup. It's important that we move collectively in our team tactics, so we would like to develop our communication more in our daily training.

UEHARA Tomoya (Sol Mar Praia)
As the second day of the training camp is over, maybe our teammates are still struggling a little with the heat in Okinawa, but I usually play here, so I have no problems with the heat. I would like to play, being aware of taking communication with my teammates from our daily training. For the friendly match this time, many of the people I know in Okinawa will be coming, so I would like to show a good play in front of them.
