Comments

OKUGAWA Masaya (Kyoto Sanga F.C. U-18)
I got to play from the second half in today’s training match, and put up my aggressiveness, which is my trait, and it was good. But I still made some passing mistakes and need to improve on that. There are chances, so I would like to showcase myself.

SEKINE Takahiro (Urawa Reds)
It was my first national team game in a while and occasionally I could not put up my game. But we still have time and I would like to have better preparation in our training camp in Miyazaki and Myanmar so we can tune up well for the AFC Under-19 championships. Individually, I wasn’t able to come up with a good performance, so I would like to contribute to the team more.

HIROSE Rikuto(Mito Hollyhock)
Although it was my first game on a national team in a while, I was able to posses the ball well, but my timing was a little off in finishing with shots. But we can adjust that in our camps in Miyazaki and Myanmar, and it’s not a huge problem. I would like to communicate with my teammates off trainings as well.

ONAIU Ado(JEF United Chiba)
We’ve finished the first two days of our training camp. This is my first training camp on the national team, but I’ve been able to get along with others very well. Today, we worked on our tactics and combinations during the morning. I have not understood the traits of other players, so I would like to play taking communications with them. In the afternoon, we played a training match with Nissho Gakuen High School. We had some moments we had different image as well, so we would like to proceed adjusting to those things.

Players enjoy exchange with local boys

The team had an exchange meeting with students of local elementary and junior high schools. They divided the football field into five and played mini games.
Though it was a short time, the boys and girls enjoyed playing with the Japan national team players, and the players actively took communications and enjoyed the time as well.
