KATO Ryuma (Bardral URAYASU)
In today's match against Vietnam, there were things that I could and there were things that I couldn't do. Hopefully, I can play better than today given the time tomorrow. I played with some of the teammates for the first time and there were some moments that we weren't on the same page regarding our collective plays, so we would like to have better communications during games and off the pitch so we will establish better connections.

MAEDONCHI Matias Hernan (NAGOYA OCEANS)
It'd been about half a year since we played against another national team. We've prepared ourselves having added some new players after our last training camp, and ended up winning 2-1 over the Vietnam national team. There were both good things and bad things, but we were able to fight until the end. We have one more game to play, so we rest our bodies and hope to put up a better performance than in the second match tomorrow.

NIBUYA Kazuhiro (VASAGEY OITA)
Our opponents for today, Vietnam, had speed, momentum and unique rhythm, so we experienced a game that we couldn't usually have in the F League. We made a lot of mistakes, including our connections, today, but we have another game tomorrow, so hopefully we can elaborate our plays than today and make it a great game for us. And we would like to proceed to win in the Asia Championship.

Players' Comments (6/10)

WATANABE Tomoaki (FUCHU ATHLETIC F.C.)
As in the training match of the previous day, it was a tough game. We had some tough times against Vietnam's quick pressing and volumes of their momentum, but we controlled the game playing patiently, and were able to extend leads in the end.

We knew that we would have chances if we'd keep our concentration, and were able to connect our chances for the goals. We played a game that we wanted to play, so I think we put up a contest that we can give credit to ourselves. Also, considering to play in Asia, it was a great experience for us.

It was the first time for me to be on the national team in a while, and I spent a valuable time as I recalled the concepts and tactics of the national team and how they'd play. Hopefully all of us get back to our own clubs and develop ourselves.

NAGAI Yoshifumi (SHRIKER OSAKA)
The two consecutive games against Vietnam were precious for both me individually and as a team. I was able to find a lot of issues I need to work on, so I want to work on them and improve myself on a daily basis, strictly sticking with outcomes both as an individual and team at Shriker Osaka, so I get called up by the national team again.
