Head coach TAKAKURA Asako’s Comment

The AFC U-19 Women’s Championship 2015 will be held in August to compete for the qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. There were teams failed to qualify for FIFA Championship even though they were recognized as favorite in the past. You cannot always win the game with excellent players, strong squad and playing good football. That is what a football is all about. With a limited time available, I selected players capable of becoming a centerpiece and giving new power to the squad this time. I would hope to build up “strong team” with players and staff united together and I expect positive competition among players selected and those wasn’t in the coming months.
