Beach Soccer Japan National Team activity report from South America tour (19 Jan)

The sixth day of South America tour and having played games two straight days, the squad held training in the morning and the afternoon for further enhancing the team performance.

The players looked very tired for playing successive games till the previous day but they focused on conducting training encouraging and calling each other in a loud voice.

In the afternoon, they reviewed tactics of set-pieces from kickoff, corner kick, etc. They have been on a roll for winning two consecutive games and demonstrated acrobatic plays such as overhead kick, etc. which helps them power up the team. They looked ready to take on rest of four games of South America tour confidently and finished their training.

Players Comments

GINOZA Tomoya (TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
Before the morning training head coach took time to explain what we have revised and what needs to be improved from the previous tour, we could hold a productive training keeping these points in mind. The team has been in good terms and relaxed in the tour so far when we are off the pitch.

OBA Takaaki (Dorsole Kitakyushu)
Since we arrived in Brazil, I would say the squad has made remarkable progress both physically and tactically. I want to play as hard as we could for focusing on the result and the way we play in the upcoming training matches tomorrow and day after tomorrow.

MAKINO Shinji (LEON FUKUOKA)
In this tour we have been very good at confirming the detailed tactics each other on the pitch to meet head coach’s requests. We had a chance to play training matches against powerhouse teams and it has been a quite productive tour.
