Bruno GARCIA, Coach’s Comment

We have called up players from 8 different clubs, 7 domestic and 1 foreign. Average age is 28, and we have 6 players who’s never played in an official tournament thus far. Through this selection, we aim to unite the veterans and young players. As mentioned a number of times before, we’ll continue to work on our “re-construction” and “construction” process.

Heading towards the AFC Futsal Championship, we’ll start our activities on Monday 22 January. In preparation we plan to have two tiers, first tier being the domestic part, and the second tier once we land in Chinese Taipei. In our first tier, we are scheduled to have two training matches against the current world champions, Argentina. These games will give us a great opportunity to show everyone our intention and what we’re striving to accomplish. Facing the very best in the world, it will also give us a good perspective on where we stand at the moment.

Our first game will be held in Tokyo, Thursday 25, and second game in Toyama, Sunday 28. I hope everyone can come support us, as it will be a great opportunity for everyone to see Futsal at its highest level.
