Objective
The Japan Football Association (“JFA”) holds this event for all university teams in order to improve football skill and physical and mental health of female players in Japan and contribute to the encouragement and development of women’s football.

Participating teams will be 24 teams selected from the following regions:
Hokkaido: 1, Tohoku: 2, Kanto: 6, Hokushinetsu: 2,

the last-tournament (22nd) champions
The regional football associations can determine the team by the following premises.
i) If a region has its local university football league, the participating team will be determined by the rankings of the league.
ii) The participating teams can be determined by a qualifying tournament or recommendation.

Awards
- (1) The champions, runners-up and third-placed team will be awarded a certificate and medals. The fourth-placed team will be awarded a certificate.
- (2) For the encouragement and development of fair play spirit, the Fair Play Award, consisting of a certificate and a trophy, will be awarded to the selected team in accordance with the JFA’s selection standard. The Fair Play Award will be given per team and selected from the final-four teams in the tournament
