Admission

Matches other than the semi-finals and final are free of charge.

Semi-finals and Final:
General: 1,000 yen (800 yen), Junior High & High School Students: 400 yen (300 yen), Elementary School Students or Younger: Free

Note 2: Junior high and high school students with the JFA Player ID are free of charge.

Eligibility

A team shall be a single university team, consist of players registered for the Japan Football Association and Japan University Football Association, and meet the following statements.

i) A team shall complete the registration for the Japan Football Association and the Japan University Football Association in the relevant year and shall complete the yearly payment for the associations.
ii) When a team includes one or more players of foreign nationality, the number of foreign player registrants shall be up to five out of the 30 players on the team. The same principle is also applied to the number of foreign players registered for a match and foreign players playing in a match at a time. This shall not apply to the Associate Membership.
iii) A player shall be registered for the Japan Football Association and Japan University Football Association. All participating players must carry the JFA Player ID with him.
iv) If the player’s eligibility is in question, the Japan University Football Association shall discuss and determine the matter with the Japan Football Association.

Selection of Participating Teams

1) Participating teams will be 20 teams to be selected from the following regions:

A Hokkaido: 1, B Tohoku: 1, C Hokushinetsu: 1
D Kanto: 6, E Tokai: 2, F Kansai: 5,
G Chugoku: 1, H Shikoku: 1, I Kyushu: 2

2) Each regional university football association will determine the participating teams by holding a tournament where all the registered universities are able to participate, and the regional association shall report it to the Student’s Soccer Federation of Kansai by Sunday 6 July 2014.

Awards

1) The champions will be awarded the Prime Minister Trophy and a certificate and retain the trophy until the next championship is held.
The champion team will also be awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Certificate, and the champions, runners-up and two third-placed teams will be awarded the Japan Football Association Certificate.
The champions, runners-up and two third-placed teams will be awarded medals and the champions will be awarded the Yomiuri Shimbun Trophy.

2) The champions have a right and obligation to participate in the All Japan University Football Tournament in the same fiscal year.
