Tournament System

1) First Round

The 16 teams, drawn into four groups of four, play the round robin contests, and the first-placed team in each group (total four teams) will advance to the final round. The standings in the first round are determined by points earned: win 3, draw 1, and loss 0.
The team with a higher number of points is placed higher in the standings. If the points earned are equal, the following criteria will be applied to determine the standings in the descending order:

i) Goal difference in all matches (Total goals scored – Total goals conceded)
ii) Total goals scored in all matches
iii) Match result between the teams in question (Win or loss)
iii) Drawing of lots (With a representative of the teams in question in attendance).

2) Final Round

The champions, runners-up and third-placed teams will be determined on the knockout system among the four teams. No third-place match will be held.

Awards

The champions and runners-up will be awarded a certificate and a trophy. The two third-placed teams will be awarded a certificate.
