JFA signs on partnership with Denmark

Japan Football Association (JFA) signed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Danish Football Association (DBU - Dansk Boldspil-Union) today 7 February, in Tokyo. This agreement in between the football governing bodies will deepen the mutual relationship and continuous cooperation for a further development of football in both Denmark and Japan.

JFA President TASHIMA Kohzo expressed his appreciation of such an important occasion. “Denmark is one of the leading models of world football, and I believe that this partnership can help each other to advance to a higher level not only in technical but also in administrative aspects. It also gives us extra pleasure to deepen the ties of friendship between the two football families on the celebrating year of 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Japan.”

The MoU between DBU and JFA agrees on the cooperation with each other in the following areas:

・Grassroots
・Health and fitness
・National Teams
・Women’s football
・Education of Coaches and Referees

Until today JFA has signed MoU with England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Jordan, Mongolia, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

JFA signs on partnership with Denmark
