JFA Academy Fukushima running coordination program held

Running coordination program was conducted at JFA Academy Fukushima on Tue. 10 June.
This program’s objective is to learn a basic running form, held once a week for 9th-term boys and girls students and 7th and 8th-term girls students. The theme this time for 9th-term students was “get a feeling of pushing the ground”, and for 8th-term students was “start running from a crouching posture.

NUMAZAWA Hideo, JFA Physical Fitness Project
It is a big advantage for a soccer player to run fast. We allocate 20 to 30 minutes for running coordination program in the training held once a week. For the 7th and 8th-term students, they began to move their body in stable way, as they have been working on daily warm up training for enhancing your body featuring trunk training. Still the 9th student looks bit stiff as a whole, they will be able to move your body efficiently for them to run faster, by keep working on daily drill for acquiring a basic movement.
The students began to tackle the program with concentration for a short training time. The running form is different when you running while controlling the ball and putting on a spurt. I hope they can extract inherited speed for playing soccer by switching intentionally.

KATO Hijiri, 9th-term player /7th grade
I had a lesson of running form on the running coordination program held weekly on Tuesdays. I realized a running form is important for playing soccer. It is useful to learn a running form for running faster, running for a longer time without getting tired. I hope to learn the right running form and make it my habit to run in a right form.

KAWAKAMI Kohei, 9th-term Player / 7th grade
We are learning how to run in a right form, etc. every Tuesday. It is beneficial for improving my running form because it makes me run faster and run longer period of time. Listening to the instructions carefully, I will try to work hard as I can as I consciously refer to things I learned at running coordination training, implement these things at the training and the game.

TAKEDA Asumi, 8th-termPlyaer / 8th grade
This is second year for me to attend the running coordination program. As I learned in the previous year, I learned to run in the right form in the training and at the game for attack and defense. I could keep my body firm and became stronger when I play against a bigger player. The theme of training this time was to “jump the bar with a good rhythm and land firmly on the ground”. Sometimes I was stuck at the bar because of bad rhythm.
