Report on U-17 Japan National Team Czech trip (18 Aug)

After taking on a two-day training in Shizuoka on 16 and 17 August, the U-17 Japan National Team watched a SBS Cup match, U-19 Japan vs U-19 Korea Rep. and moved to Haneda Airport. They departed from Haneda late night of 17, stopped by Dubai and Vienna and then arrived in the host city Zlin, Czech Republic on the evening of 18th.

With Cy Goddard joining the team, all 18 players showed at Vienna Airport.
After spending all day traveling, players looked tired. They jogged and stretched their body at the training venue near the hotel to remove fatigue from the long trip.
The environment around the hotel is very relaxing and peaceful with a lot of greenery and beautiful town scenery.

They will have training sessions in the morning and afternoon tomorrow to prepare for the match against Slovakia held on 20 August.

Naganuma Yoichi(Sanfrecce Hiroshima F.C. Youth)
I’m very pleased and full of appreciation to be selected for the national team. We had a long trip and got tired. But because maintaining a good condition is required as a player, I will try to be fit and get ready for the match. It’s a competition, so we will stick to the win-loss result and hopefully win the tournament.
