Japan Futsal National Team tune up for Croatia friendly

Fri. 27 November

While the players struggled with their fatigue and jet lag, they went through some light training menus that emphasized on recovering, such as trainings using balls, in the morning. After the session, they tuned up their own physical conditions at the fitness gymnasium that was attached to the gymnasium where they trained. In the afternoon, the team was divided into two groups and had practical menus before they wrapped up with set plays.

Sat. 28 November

In order to be relieved from mental stiffness and refresh their minds, the players went out onto the main square of Zagreb in the morning. They stayed there for only an hour or so, but it seemed that they refreshed their heads by seeing the old rows of the great streets and buildings that had the molds of the medieval Europe in Zagreb, the capital city. In the afternoon, they held a meeting to scout their opposing teams. Coach Miguel told a variety of options to his players, and sharing them, the players had a final tune-up for their game against Croatia.

Players' Comments

NAKAMURA Yusuke (NAGOYA OCEANS)
I still have some jet lag, but I was still able to go through our practices in the morning and afternoon with concentration. We're working on training to check our passing game and set plays that we've done. Toward the series of our games against Croatia, we would like to elaborate on what we've done and be particular about the outcomes both as a team and individual. I will do my best to grow as much as possible during this trip.

OSODO Nobuya (SHRIKER OSAKA)
We mainly worked on our recovery in yesterday's training, but raise the strengths a little bit today, increasing practical game-like training today. We've been able to move better and have good training, communicating with the entire members toward our friendly games that we will play starting on the day after tomorrow. I want to do my best and be particular about the results and contents so I will have earned a lot of things during this trip.
