The Myanmar National Team arrived in Japan on Tuesday, 14 November ahead of their match against the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) in the FIFA World Cup 26™ / AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ Preliminary Joint Qualification at Panasonic Stadium Suita in Osaka on Tuesday, 16 November.

The team arrived at Kansai International Airport on 14 November and were transferred to a hotel in Osaka, where training began the following afternoon.

The match between the SAMURAI BLUE and the Myanmar National Team is scheduled to kick-off at 19:00 on Thursday, 16 November.

Japan are a formidable team, having beaten the likes of Germany, Turkey, Tunisia and Canada. Many of the Japanese players also play for clubs around the world and there are plenty of fit and very capable players on their squad. It's going to be a tough match, but I think it's also a good opportunity for us to learn and absorb from a strong team. Myanmar have a group of players who have been playing together since they performed well at the U-20 World Cup seven years ago, with the addition of young and talented players who have been well integrated into the team. We will enjoy the atmosphere in the stadium, play to our limits and fight for our national pride.

Japan have achieved excellent results in a number of international competitions. With victories over Germany, Turkey, Canada and Tunisia, and star players from the Premier League, LaLiga and Europe's top leagues, everyone is aware of how the Japan National Team have fared on the international stage. I think there is a big gap between us and Japan, but I believe that nothing is impossible in football. We will do our best for our fans and our country. We also want to play with respect for our opponents and the Japanese fans. The team is currently injury-free, and we are confident that we can perform to the best of our ability tomorrow. Tomorrow's game will undoubtedly be exciting.
