Players' Comments

MF #12   NISHIDA Meika (Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies)
Regarding the match against Korea Republic yesterday, we had known by some analysis that breaking through both wings were effective. During the difficult time that we couldn’t score and the opponents got tired, we could score a good goal. I feel that we all have grown up in the series of experiences that we have had.

In the final, we keep encouraging each other and become united. That will make us win the championship. We will show 120% of what we have done to get the victory as Asian champion.

MF #14   MIURA Narumi (Nippon TV Menina)
When we got the goal in the match against Korea Republic, we were so happy with high-fives and I was nearly crying. All the substitute members felt the same as the players on the pitch; we always prepare ourselves with high motivation so that we change the air and be a good part of scoring and get the victory.

My advantage is moving the ball around well with technique so when the team is in a messy moment, I would be very helpful with my passing technique to calm down the team. This is the only way for the substitute players to show how much they can so in future they can be chosen as a starting players. If I had any chance to play in the final, I want to keep my level of play and make a goal to win the competition.

FW #23   SONODA Mizuki (Musashigaoka College)
Substitute players have very important roles so I get ready to make a good result once I get a chance to play in the match. To catch up with the starting players as much as possible, I must have intensive training sessions. As a player, I definitely want to score once I have a chance to play. As a team, it is very important to be united well to get the victory.
