Coach MORIYASU Hajime's Comment

Over the years I have continuously been observing the Tokyo Olympic Game’s generation, and I have selected those who have been actively logging playing time both domestically and at abroad. There are those who have returned from injuries and started to show good form. I have taken in consideration of the possibilities and how these players can fit in with each other. We still have long ways to go in terms of the fundamental team level, as the offence must be able to score in the attacking third, while the defence must find ways to concede less goals against international powerhouses and improve their build-ups. Through these top flight international competitions, we will like to heighten the team level as well as the individual level in this tournament.
