Players' Comments

KUROKAWA Atsushi (Omiya Ardija Youth)
Today, we had a training match in the afternoon, after we watched a practice match of the U-18 team in the morning. I came in the game thinking to play moving all the time, which was something I felt by watching the U-18 game. We had some good attacks and some occasions in which we ended up scoring goals, so we as a team and me individually want to keep doing it. But we gave up a goal in the end and that was something that made us want to check and prepare for the main tournament.

YOSHIHIRA Tsubasa (Oita Trinita U-18)
We played the first and only game before the Niigata international today. I was able to have the grasp of our teammates and make them understand what I wanted to do. We were able to share our thoughts on what we are supposed to do as a team and perform on the pitch, so it was a good training match for us. Toward the Niigata international, we would like to have a better preparation from tomorrow's practice.

TOMIYASU Takehiro (Avispa Fukuoka U-18)
What I was aware for today's game against the Hokushinetsu team personally was to feed passes omitting one player offensively and interceptions defensively. But I had some occasions that my passing speeds were slow and I was slow against the opponents' pressing because I was slow in anticipating plays. I want to work on those from tomorrow's practice so I'll get better. As a team, I think that we are getting better in some phases as we accumulate our practices, so we want to continue that and hopefully we will be prepared well enough so we'll get in the tournament in a good mood.
