Comments

SAKAI Daisuke (Oita Trinita)
This was a match in which we could see our advantages and disadvantages as a team and also as individual players. We will improve the quality of what we can do and we also have to work hard to solve our issues. This year, we have the qualifying stage of the AFC U-19 Championships so I want to share what we need to do as a united squad team.

WAKINO Atsushi (Higashi Fukuoka High School)
This morning we had some practical training such as finishing from the defender line, moving the ball around to the front line, and we also did some sessions to improve our combination play especially in front of the goal. Since we found it difficult to make the combination work well in the front line during the training match yesterday, we focused on that aspect in the training. In the training match against Oita Trinita, I could find issues not only as an individual player but also as a team. I know that our passing and shooting accuracy isn’t good enough and I want to work hard to improve those issues.

SEKO Tatsuki (Mitsubishi Yowa SC Youth)
I am very happy to be shortlisted for the squad team for the first time. Today we had a meeting before the training match against Oita Trinita to improve the mutual understanding as a team. Yet we had some times where we didn’t really understand well what to do as a team so I just to want to be able to understand well at any time. It is a shame that we couldn’t win, but we will have to make use of what we have learned today. The rest of training sessions are precious to me, I just want to learn as much as possible from this opportunity.

SUEKI Hiroya (Ventforet Kofu U-18)
I am very happy to be called for this camp as a shortlisted squad player for the first time. It’s been 3 days since the training camp started and all of the team members have gradually understood the aim of this camp. I had things that I needed some time to get familiar with since this is my first experience, but I think I have gradually understood the team’s strategies by communicating with the other squad members. In this training camp we have a chance to watch the Japan National Team’s game, I expect that I can learn a lot from their match.

OGAWA Koki (Toko Gakuen High School)
In the training match against Oita Trinita, each of us had only 30 minutes to play and we had to show our good performances. As a player, I couldn’t work well to make a good combination and I haven’t scored yet. I just want to work very hard to improve my issues in the remaining 2 days of training sessions. Tomorrow, we will watch the SAMURAI BLUE’s match, so I want to learn what I can do for my future.
