At 173 cm tall, she uses her height and athleticism to deal with crosses, and in recent years she has also improved her passing and close-range saving skills.
She has represented her country in various age groups and was selected for Nadeshiko Japan for the first time in 2016.
She has been selected for the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women's World Cups and the Tokyo Olympics.
Although she did not get the chance to play in either tournament, she embodied the spirit of “For the team” by keeping a watchful eye on her team.
She and YAMASHITA Ayaka have been playing for the national team since the age of 17, and their bond is strong.
