Towards 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, Match Flag Workshop was held at K's Denki Stadium Mito on 29 April. It was a workshop to create a "match flag with a mixture of football and art" with a piece of cloth. The flag was designed with a motif of Japanese flag and flags of Côte d'Ivoire, Greece, and Columbia, with which SAMURAI BRUE (Japan National Team) plays mathces.

More than 100 people from adults to elementary school students belonging to Mito Hollyhock Junior gathered at the stadium and started making a flag together. When they were trying to come up with a design, they seemed to be curious about match flags being made in other regions as they were saying that "a match flag made with paper fans looked cool!"
6 match flags to cheer for SAMURAI BRUE and their opposing teams were completed!
The flags made here will be displayed at Art Tower Mito and other places.

The next workshop will be held at Ieshima Elementary School in Himeji on 1 May.
