The 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship: Qualified teams determined in Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto

Amid prefectural qualifying championships taking place in each prefecture for "the 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship" (opening on 27 August), prefectural finals were held in Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Kumamoto on Sunday 26 June, and the following three teams sealed a spot for the Emperor's Cup.

Fukuoka: 2016 20th Fukuoka Prefecture Football Championship Final

*Fukuoka University made an Emperor's Cup appearance for 6 consecutive years and it will be their all-time 31st appearance.

Nagasaki: 27th Nagasaki Prefecture Football Championship Final

Kumamoto: 20th NHK Cup Kumamoto Prefecture Football Championship Final

*Tokai University Kumamoto made an Emperor's Cup appearance for 2 consecutive years and it will be their 2nd appearance.
