Life in Academy: Lodging (Dormitory System) + Weekend Homecoming

JFA Academy Fukushima intensively offers good coaching in a good environment to talented players to have their individual ability improve.
The student-athletes are provided with the ultimate training environment with specialised facilities in their dormitory life.
Boys have their training under a category of either 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade of junior high, or 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade of high school.
Although girls have their training in a single team from 1st grade of junior high to 3rd grade of high, they play matches in two different teams consisting of junior high school students and high school students.

Support and Environment

Dormitory next to Uki City Fureai Sports Centre (Kumamoto Prefecture Football Centre) is used for training and education.

We provide effective nurturing while they train, eat, rest and learn necessary subjects as a proper daily routine.

The students return home on weekends.We only accept students who can return home with reasonable easiness at the end of each week.

School: Local Junior High School

Academy students attend local Uki City Ogawa Junior High School for their school life.By focusing on not only the football programme but also school life and social life appropriate for junior high school students, we provide adequate education on the academic side as well.

Education besides school programme: JFA Programme

To foster human resources who can lead society as a true elite, we implement various JFA programmes and daily communications into the dormitory life apart from school curriculum.

We focus specifically on acquisition of logical communication skill, language learning and leader education.Our students learn and practise the behaviour in everyday life which is necessary for them as an athlete to improve and bring out the performance.

The logical communication skill class is offered in cooperation with the Tsukuba Language Arts Institute.

Team Activity

Although JFA Academy Kumamoto Uki offers training to improve students' individual skills but does not registers as a team to play official matches.Each individual is to belong to his/her own team and return home on weekends to join their team's training.We work on training matches as part of our training session.

Social Life in Local Community

When it comes to living at dormitory away from parents and attending the local school, living their life with only football peers and football itself is not how it is supposed to be in their ages.We place a high value on not only various school activities but also exchanges with local community.

Cooperating with the local organisation NPO Sports Academy Kumamoto Uki, we plan the support family system where local residents play a role as a host family in order to provide students with the family life experience.We also plan to install the labour education practice and other programmes.
