U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN: All players enjoyed off-the-pitch communication

28 June 2015

U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN: All players enjoyed off-the-pitch communication

All second matches of U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN Presented by JFA that started 24 June have been played. Since there is only 1 off day before the next matches, all teams had some training sessions mainly to relieve tiredness in the morning to prepare for their upcoming final matches.

In the afternoon, all players and staff members of all teams met each other and had a sightseeing tour in Osaka. It is one of the positive characteristics of international match that players can enhance communication to understand each other better even off the pitch. They shared buses and enjoyed communicating amongst each other on the way to Osaka Castle and the Aquarium, which are very popular tourist places.

All the teams are having their final matches on 28th. Firstly, U-16 Costa Rica National Team will play against U-16 Chile National Team. Then U-16 Japan National Team will face U-16 France National Team to decide the winner of the first International Dream Cup. Both matches will be held in Kincho Stadium and entrance is for free of charge.

Players' Comment

Luis Ureta (U-16 Chile National Team)
It was good experience for me to spend time with all the players and staff members of the 4 countries taking part in this competition. I could talk with other players from all the 4 countries and got chance to make new friends. The match against Costa Rica tomorrow is very important. Even though they have not won yet in this International Dream Cup but they have had good match experiences from playing against Japan and France, so we want to keep our level of play, and perform well.
